Experiential meta-function analysis of English abstracts in medical research articles

文章以10种SCI英语医学期刊中分层抽取的50篇结构式论文摘要为语料,运用经验功能理论对摘要各部分小句及物性过程分布和语态分布进行分析。分析表明:表经验意义的及物性过程和语态类型的选择与摘要的交际功能有密不可分的联系,及物性过程的选择在一定程度上制约着语态类型的选择。语言形式体现语言功能;语言功能决定语言形式。

In this article the authors mainly discussed the relationship between genre and experiential organization. The analysis was carried out from three perspectives： i） distribution of transitivity processes in different moves of medical research article abstracts; ii） distribution of voice in different moves of medical research article abstracts; iii） interrelations between distribution of transitivity processes and distribution of voice.
