情景省略中的一些重要信息不会以语言形式出现,而是通过情境的方式呈现于观众或听众眼前,从而辅助性地传递语篇含义。这种省略不仅给观众（听众）带来了形式上的简洁美,更富于内容上的意境美,愉悦美,幽默美和通俗美等等。翻译此类语篇时,我们首先需要弄清楚语言本身所赋予的美感,并结合译语的行文习惯和标准进行有效翻译。基于两种语言本身的结构和文化都存在一定差异,翻译时我们可选用对应法、还原法、扩展法或者转换法,以实现原文的美感再现。

In situational elliptical discourse, certain information is not shown with verbal appearance, but is displayed by means of situational environment for the audience, thus, it helps effectively convey the complete meaning of the text. This special type of ellipsis endows language with multiple aesthetic feelings ： brevity in form,beauty in content, including image, joviality, humor and popularity.
