This paper introduces extended validation works on JSNT-S code based on two practical engineering shielding calculation problems, the PWR Pressure Vessel Fluence Calculation Benchmark (PWR benchmark) and H. B. Robinson Unit 2 Pressure Vessel Benchmark (HBR-2 benchmark). The benchmarks put forward new challenges to the JSNT-S code, including the complexity of neutron source calculation, strong attenuation of the flux in the shielding material and modeling of complex shield structure geometry.
