Mn 0.4 Zn 0.6 Fe 2-2 x Cr 2 x O 4 ( x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4) powder samples were prepared using the sol-gel method. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) showed that all samples belong to the cubic spinel crystal system with an Fd-3m space group. The Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) results show that the substitution of Cr leads to a reduction in grain size . The magnetothermal curves obtained from the Multi-Purpose Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS-9) indicated the presence of a spin glass state at low temperatures. With increasing C...
