Oridonin, an active diterpenoid isolated from traditional Chinese herbal medicine, has received a rising attention for its remarkable roles in cancer therapy. In recent years, increasing evidence have revealed that oridonin inhibits the occurrence and development of tumor cells through multiple mechanisms, including induction of apoptosis and autophagy, cell cycle arrest, and inhibition of angiogenesis as well as migration and invasion.
