Abstract: As a beneficial natural flavonoid, genistein has demonstrated a wide range of biological functions via regulating a number of targets and signaling pathways, such as anti-cancer, antioxidant, antibacterial, antiinflammatory, antifungal, antiviral, iron chelation, anti-obesity, anti-diabetes, and anti-hypertension.
