Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is often referred to as the ‘king of breast cancers’ due to its extremely poor prognosis. As an emerging cancer treatment, photodynamic therapy (PDT) has become a focal point of current research because of its high selectivity, minimal invasiveness, and low side effects.
