OBJECTIVE To investigate the consistency of total flavonoid with single flavonoid (quercetin,kaempferol and isorhamnetin) in Sea buckthorn fruit by comparing their contents,and to investigate the correlation between antioxidant activity and its main components.METHODS The single flavonoids and Vitamin C in Sea buckthorn fruit were determined by HPLC at 360 nm and 254 nm,respectively. The total flavonoids were measured according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia.
