A preliminary simulation of ion cyclotron resonance heating (ICRH) in the poloidal cross-section at the antenna location of the CN-H1 (Chinese Heliac 1) stellarator has been conducted for the first time using the full-wave solver TORIC. The heating scheme employed focuses on minority ion heating of He 4 (H), with an independent investigation into the effects of wave frequency, toroidal mode number, and minority ion concentration on ICRH.
