Pressure overload-induced cardiac hypertrophy is a common cause of heart failure (HF), and emerging evidence suggests that excessive oxidized lipids have a detrimental effect on cardiomyocytes. However, the key regulator of lipid toxicity in cardiomyocytes during this pathological process remains unknown.
