A comparative study on the lectin receptors in the mucosal epithelium of the ascending and descending colon in human embryos aged from 7 to 38 weeks was carried out by affinity cytochemical ABC method with biotinglated concanavalin A(ConA), soybean agglutinin(SBA), ulex eurolpaeus ag-glutinin-1(UEA-1) and wheat germ agglutinin(WGA).
