“为己之学”的教学思想与人文素质教育具有内在一致性，“为己之学”的复兴能有力地推动人文素质教育模式在我国高校的建立和完善，而人文素质教育培养模式的成功构建又能反过来促进“为己之学”传统理念在现代社会的传播与运用，使中国所固有的人文传统与现代高等教育体系相得益彰，有利于我们克服现代高等教育中的各种弊端。
