This work aimed to quantify the physical and mechanical behavior of three-dimensional microstructures in rocks under uniaxial compression. A high-precision in situ XCT (X-ray transmission computed tomography) technology was applied to investigating the behavior of mineral grains in sandstone: the movement, the rotation deformation, and the principal strains between fault zone and non-fault zone. The results indicate that after unloading, the shear strain of mineral grains is periodic in the radial direction, the strain of mineral grains in the fracture zone is about 30 times of the macro strai...

为了定量表征岩石中三维微结构在单轴压缩下的物理和力学行为,采用高精度原位计算机断层扫描(XCT)研究了砂岩矿物颗粒运动、旋转变形和主应变特性,揭示了断裂带与非断裂带之间的晶粒行为。结果表明:1)卸载后,矿物颗粒剪切应变在径向上呈现周期性的变化。2)断裂带和非断裂带区域内部颗粒应变约为试样宏观应变的30倍和5倍。3)断裂带区域附近的剪切应变大于压缩应变,且存在剪应力集中的特征。
