BackgroundOsteoporosis, resulting from an imbalance between osteoclast-mediated bone resorption and osteoblast-mediated bone formation, affects millions globally. Recent studies have identified type H vessels (CD31hiEMCNhi) as a specialized subset of bone blood vessels that positively regulate bone formation.
