The effects of rolling on the damping capacity of Mg-0.6Z alloy was studied. The results show that at the rolling temperature of 400℃, the damping capacity of Mg-0.6Z alloy decreases sharply. Furthermore, the damping capacity decreases with the increase of deformation extent. That can be explained by the mass of dislocation tangling formatted during rolling.
