The formaldehyde can catalyze potassium bromate oxidizing fluorescein resulting in decreasing of the intensity of resonance fluorescence in sulfuric acid medium,a novel catalytic resonance fluorescence method was proposed for the determination of trace formaldehyde.The linear range and the determination limit for formaldehyde were 0.023 8~0.175 μg/mL and 7.15 × 10-3 μg/mL,respectively.The RSD was less than 2.47%.The recovery rates were 96.5%~104.6%.This method is quick and simple with little interference.It can be applied to the determination of trace formaldehyde in a...
