The growth characteristic, cytotcxic effect andpathogenicity of Un and Mh in monolayered Hela cellswere studied. The results indicated that Un and Mhcould grow well in Hela cells. The Un and Mh showedobvious cytotoxic effect 8 days postinfectipn. Theirgrowth in Hela cell monolayer, 10 days postinfection,observed under olympus microscope presented CPE.Under electron microscope, the cell and nulear membrane of the infected Hela cells showed injury.
