By the reaction of different aromatic dicarboxylic acid with zinc nitrate, three metal-carboxylate frameworks, [Zn_3(BDC)_3(EtOH)_2](1), [Zn_3(BDC)_3(py)_2]·2DMF(2), and [Zn_3(NH_2-BDC)_3(H_2O)_2]·5DMF(3) which are constructed on the same linear trinuclear Zn_3(RCOO)_6 secondary building units, have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analyses. Structural analyses showed that there are terephthalic acids as ligand linkers to form the hxl topological layer structures for 1 and 2. The introduction of the rigid aromatic ring pyridine in 2 as the terminal co-ligand of Zn_3-SBU to instead of the flexible ethanol in 1, will form the layer-pillared supramolecular systems with 2-D crisscross channels, through its π-π stacking interactions. Owing to the steric hindrance of amino groups, 3 was assembled into a three-dimensional porous structure with pcu topology derived from the 2-amino-terephthalic acid as linkers to connect the Zn_3-SBUs through a head-to-tail type.

Two hypothetical crystal-growth intermediates of a new pillared-layer framework have been isolated. The seemingly rigid pillared-layer framework also undergoes temperature-induced, time-dependent, hysteretic framework distortion.

摘要:
In the title compound, C30H23ClN6OS, the benzyl, the 3-chloroanilino, the phenyl and the anilino groups form dihedral angles of 85.95 (6), 29.63 (7), 28.55 (1) and 87.48 (6)°, respectively, with the pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine unit [maximum deviation = 0.052 (2) A]. An intramolecular N - H···N hydrogen bond occurs. The crystal structure features N - H···O hydrogen bonds.

A new cobalt coordination compound with nitronyl nitroxide and benzonate, Co(PyNIT)2(PhCOO)2(H2O)2, where PyNIT = 2-(p-pyridyl)-4,4′,5,5′-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide, was synthesized and its X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out. The crystals were triclinic: a = 6.7749(4), b = 11.3472(7), c = 12.9066(8) Å, α = 87.906(1)°, β = 88.631(1)°, γ = 79.080(1)°, V = 973.45(10) Å3, space group P

A two dimensional coordination polymer with pseudo-Kagomé net [Cu3(btc)2(NH3)8(H2O)] was prepared from Cu(NO3)2·3H2O and 1, 3, 5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (btc) in ammonia aqua solution and was structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. The magnetic susceptibility measurements, measured from 2 to 300 K, revealed a weak anti-ferromagnetic interaction between the CuII ions via the btc ligands.

Reaction of Cd(Ac)2, 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) and biphenyl-2,2′-dicarboxylic acid or biphenyl-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid, two new cadmium complexes, namely molecular quadrangle [Cd2(2,2′-BPDC)2(Ac)2(DABCOH)2]·2H2O (1) and one dimension (1-D) chain [Cd(Ac)2(DABCO)(H2O)]n·2nH2O (2), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The solution–gel–solution transformation course to crystallize 2 was captured. Through the alternately hydrogen bonds between coordinated Ac− and lattice H2O, both 1 and 2 give rise to a three-dimensional supramolecular structures. In room temperature, 1 displays intense blue fluorescent emission derived from ligand-to-metal change transfer (LMCT).

Nitroxides radicals are attractive tools for study in biochemistry and materials science. A polymorphic crystal of a nitroxide radical, 4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-2-phenylimidazoline-1-oxyl 1-oxide was prepared and structurally characterised. The compound crystallised in the monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 11.170(6) angstrom, b = 10.417(5) angstrom, c = 10.995(5) angstrom, beta = 108.059(9), V = 1216.3(10) angstrom, C13H17N2O2, M-r = 233.29, D-c= 1.274 g cm(-3), mu (MoK alpha) = 0.087 mm(-1), Z = 4 and F(000) = 500. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by least-squares techniques to the final R-1 = 0.0626 and wR(2) = 0.1679 for 1070 observed reflections (I > 2 sigma(I)). The magnetic susceptibility was measured.
