摘要:
Considering the preformation probability of the two emitted protons in the parent nucleus, we extend the Coulomb and proximity potential model (CPPM) to systematically study two-proton (2p) radioactivity half-lives of the nuclei close to proton drip line. The proximity potential chosen is Prox. 81 proposed by Blocki et al. in 1981. Furthermore, we apply this model to predict the half-lives of possible 2p radioactive candidates whose 2p radioactivity is energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in the evaluated nuclear properties table NUBASE2016. The predicted results are in good agreement with those from other theoretical models and empirical formulas, namely the effective liquid drop model (ELDM), generalized liquid drop model (GLDM), Gamow-like model, Sreeja formula and Liu formula.

摘要:
The focus of this paper is on the local stability of the traveling waves of reaction–diffusion systems that describe host-tissue degradation by bacteria. On the one hand, we discuss the asymptotic behavior of the solutions near the equilibrium points. On the other hand, the local stability of traveling waves is proved by the spectrum method based on the appropriate weighted functional space.

Trafficability criterion of a tracked miner is investigated when walking across deep-sea floor with obstacles by analyzing the mechanical property of deep-sea sediment and geometrical conditions of obstacles. Trafficability criterion can help predict and estimate the mining efficiency and working safety of the tracked miner on the deep-sea sediment. Deep-sea sediment has an obvious rheological property and its compression-sinkage-time relationship was adopted to describe the sinkage shape of track under different grounding pressure distributions. The area of the sinkage shape was classified and redefined according to the relationships with different traction forces based on work-energy theorem concept. A new trafficability criterion is then established based on the areas of sinkage shapes and the physical meaning of parameters in the criterion was explained diagrammatically in detail. As an application, a trafficable deep-sea ditch width and slope angle were calculated theoretically by combining the trafficability criterion and sinkage shapes analyses. The trafficability criterion is proved to be convenient and intuitive for quickly judging the trafficability problem of deep-sea tracked miner for common obstacles.

A series of simulation experimentations are carried out on the overburden soil of the uranium tailings impoundment under the conditions of heat and insolation. The results show that: (1) The radon exhalation rate on the overburden soil of the uranium tailings impoundment increases rapidly at first and then slows down with the decrease of the moisture content. (2) The radon exhalation rate increases rapidly at first and then slows down with the increase of fractal dimension. The fitting formula of the influence of moisture content and fractal dimension on radon exhalation rate can be used to guide the radiation protection design and construction of the uranium tailings impoundment.

Spreading speed of spatio-temporal nonlinear dynamical system can sometimes be determined either by its corresponding linear system with an explicit speed formula, or by the complicated nonlinear system itself with the existence of a pushed wavefront. In this paper, the spreading speed (the minimal speed of wavefronts) for a Lotka-Volterra competition model in spatially periodic habitats is investigated. We establish new results on the linear and nonlinear selections in terms of the spatio-periodic coefficient functions. In the case of nonlinear selection, lower and upper bound estimates of the minimal speed are provided. (C) 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

The precession effect of periastron for a massive test particle in the spacetime of a Janis–Newman–Winicour wormhole is studied in the weak field limit. Based on the metric of this static and spherically symmetric wormhole in harmonic coordinates, we derive the second post-Newtonian dynamics of the particle. The second-order orbital precession of periastron is then obtained via a post-Newtonian iterative technique under the Wagoner–Will–Epstein–Haugan representation. Our result is found to be consistent with the classical precession effect when the asymptotic scalar charge is dropped.

In this paper, solutions of a Novikov equation are discussed based on the bifurcation method of dynamical systems. Through establishing a Hamiltonian function, the existence of a smooth soliton solution and a periodic cuspon solution are established for the corresponding traveling wave system of the Novikov equation. Numerical results are carried out to illustrate the feasibility of the main results. All these theories can be seen to fill the gap of the literatures Li (2014) and Pan and Li (2016). This article focuses on the finite-time and fixed-time synchronization of a class of coupled discontinuous neural networks, which can be viewed as a combination of the Hindmarsh-Rose model and the Kuramoto model. To this end, under the framework of Filippov solution, a new finite-time and fixed-time stable theorem is established for nonlinear systems whose right-hand sides may be discontinuous. Moreover, the high-precise settling time is given. Furthermore, by designing a discontinuous control law and using the theory of differential inclusions, some new sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the synchronization of the addressed coupled networks achieved within a finite-time or fixed-time. These interesting results can be seemed as the supplement and expansion of the previous references. Finally, the derived theoretical results are supported by examples with numerical simulations.

In this study, taking into account of the contribution of the centrifugal potential on half-life and the effect of electrostatic shielding, we modify the Gamow-like model proposed by Zdeb et al [2013 Phys. Rev. C 87, 024 308] to systematically investigate the cluster radioactivity half-lives of nuclei ranging from Fr-221 to U-238. The calculated results can reproduce the experimental data well. Additionally, this modified Gamow-like model is applied to predict the half-lives of cluster radioactivity nuclei whose experimental half-lives have the lower limit. It is found that the predicted results are in good agreement with the ones obtained by using the Gamow-like model and a Viola-Seaborg type formula.

The notions of os os -convergence and S∗ S∗ -doubly quasicontinuous posets are introduced, which can be viewed as common generalizations of Birkhoff’s order-convergence and S∗ S∗ -doubly continuous posets, respectively. We first consider the relationship between os os -convergence and B-topology and show that the topology induced by os os -convergence according to the standard topological approach is the B-topology precisely. Then, the topological characterization for the S∗ S∗ -doubly quasicontinuity is presented. It is proved that a poset is S∗ S∗ -doubly quasicontinuous iff the poset equipped with the B-topology is locally hyperclosed iff the lattice of all B-open subsets of the poset is hypercontinuous. Finally, the order theoretical condition for the os os -convergence being topological is given and the complete regularity of B-topology on S∗ S∗ -doubly quasicontinuous posets is explored.

Over the past decades, many authors establish various kinds of competition and cooperation models of two enterprises to analyze the dynamic interaction. However, they are only concerned with integer-order differential equation models, while the reports on fractional-order ones are very rare. In this article, based on the earlier studies, we propose a new fractional-order delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises. Letting the delay be bifurcation parameter and analyzing the corresponding characteristic equation of involved model, we establish some new sufficient conditions to guarantee the stability and the existence of Hopf bifurcation of fractionalorder delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises. The research indicates that different delays have different effect on the stability and Hopf bifurcation of involved model. The impact of the fractional order on the stability and Hopf bifurcation of involved model is displayed. To check the correctness of theoretical analysis, we implement some computer simulations.
