摘要:
In this paper, we consider a N-species cooperation system with continuous time delays and feedback controls. For general nonautonomous case, by using differential inequality theory and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, we obtain sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence and the global attractivity of the system. For the periodic case, we obtain sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence, uniqueness and stability of a positive periodic solution. For the almost periodic case, by using the Razumikhin type theorem, we obtain the sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence of a positive almost periodic solution of the system. © 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

摘要:
揭示非最大相干可能比最大相干产生更有效的非线性频率转换. 为此以三能级级联系统(没有最大相干)为例计算其非线性光学信号的强度, 并与三能级Λ型系统(具有最大相干)进行比较. 利用非微扰方法计算表明, 在双光子共振和相同参数的条件下, 级联系统产生的非线性光学信号的最大强度约是Λ系统的两倍. 利用缀饰态表象分析表明, 两个系统中耦合跃迁的自发辐射及其介入的不可逆三光子过程具有相反的作用. 它们在级联系统中加强非线性转换, 而在Λ系统中削弱非线性转换.

In this paper, we obtain some criteria for determining the asymptotic stability of the zero solution for some classes of delay-difference systems by using a discrete version of the second Lyapunov method. 摘要:
We consider in this work the fourth-order rational difference equation {Mathematical expression} where a ∈ [0, ∞) and the initial values x- 3, x- 2, x- 1, x0 ∈ (0, ∞). It is found that the perturbation of the initial values may lead to the variation of the trajectory structure rule for the solutions of the above equation. That is, with change of the initial values, the successive lengths of positive and negative semicycles for nontrivial solutions of this equation are found to occur periodically, and furthermore the periodicity is completely different. The rule is ...,2+,1-,2+,1-,2+,1-,..., or ...,1+,1-,1+,1-,1+,1-,..., or ...,2-,1+,2-,1+,2-,1+,..., or ...,3+,3-,3+,3-,3+,3-,.... This is very different from the known investigation results we have obtained for rational difference equations. By the use of the rule, the positive equilibrium point of the equation is verified to be globally asymptotically stable. © 2006 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

摘要:
Pattern formation in spatiotemporal chaotic systems is investigated. Temporally chaotic and spatially ordered patterns are observed by varying the coupling strength. Spatial orderings emerge spontaneously due to self-organization of partial and nonlocal chaos synchronization, governed by various types of spatial symmetries. The first and secondary bifurcations from spatially disordered chaos to chaos with different levels of spatial orderings are observed and the scaling behaviors associated with these bifurcations are statistically analyzed.

摘要:
为了保证叠层板状结构在流致振动时的强度、刚度、稳定性及可靠度,需要测量和分析叠层板状结构在流场中的固有振动特性。由于结构元件各单板之间的距离很小,常规的测试方法不能测出该结构的真实动态特性参数,提出一种电磁法测试技术。测试结果表明:叠层板状元件的固有频率随着流速的增大而下降;其流致振动是一种随机振动过程,并具有复模态特性;电磁法具有较高的可靠性和精度,对流致振动测试具有较好的实用性.

摘要:
Some comparative theorems are given for the oscillation and asymptotic behavior for a class of high order delay parabolic differential equations of the form {A formula is presented} where n is an odd integer, Ω is a bounded domain in Rm with a smooth boundary ∂Ω , and Δ is the Laplacian operation with three boundary value conditions. Our results extend some of those of [P. Wang, Oscillatory criteria of nonlinear hyperbolic equations with continuous deviating arguments, Appl. Math. Comput. 106 (1999), 163-169] substantially. © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

We obtained some new oscillatory conditions for the odd-order neutral parabolic differential equation. To some extent, our results are new oscillatory conditions, and extended some oscillatory results of some references. © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

摘要:
We first present the existence of a random attractor of a stochastic dynamical system generated by a damped nonlinear wave equation with white noise under the Dirichlet boundary condition and estimate the explicit bound of the random attractor. And then we obtain an estimate of the upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension of the random attractor. The obtained upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension decreases as the damping grows and it is uniformly bounded if the derivative of nonlinearity is bounded;moreover, in this case, the upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension of the random attractor is just the upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension of the global attractor for the corresponding deterministic system without noise. ©2005 Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.

To some extent, our results extended and improved the oscillatory results of some references. Meanwhile, we corrected some mistakes in a main conclusion of reference (J. Comput. Appl. Math. 147 (2002) 263).

A sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee the global asymptotic stability of the following nonlinear recursive difference equation: x n+1 = xnxn-1b + xn-2 b +a/xn-1b + xnxn-2 b +a, n = 0, 1, 2,..., where a, b ∈[0, ∞) and the initial values x-2, x-1, x0 ∈ (0, ∞ ).
