Fe-immobilized bentonite, prepared with bentonite and FeCl3 was used for the adsorption of uranium(VI) in this study, solution pH, ion strength, contact time and temperature were investigated, structural characterization of Fe-immobilized bentonite was assayed by X-ray Diffraction and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy. Results indicated that the adsorption capacity were strongly affected by the solution pH and ion strength, the adsorption efficiency was 91.8% when pH value was 6 and ion strength was 0.01 mol•L-1, higher or lower pH did not favor the U(VI) adsorption. The adsorption mechanism was discussed by the views of reactive kinetics and thermodynamics along with Scanning Electron Microscope. The adsorption kinetics process was fitted well with the second-order kinetic equation, when the initial U(VI) concentration was less than 38.08mg/L, Langmuir equations could describe the adsorption isotherm of U(VI) well with the maximum adsorption capacity of 169.5mg/g at 303K

The effects of pH, different initial concentrations of uranium and adsorption time were investigated to study the properties of the sorption of uranium by fly ash. The results show that pH value is the major factor of dominating adsorption rate. The highest adsorption capacity was obtained at pH 5 and the adsorption time was 60 minutes. The increasing of initial uranium concentration resulted in the decreasing of U removal rate and the increasing of adsorption quantity, and the maximum adsorption capacity was 8.38mg/g. The adsorption behavior accorded with both the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms.

A uranium mill tailings, located in Guangdong, was selected for spatial distribution of the radon exhalation rates measured by local static method. The two-dimension surface of radon exhalation rates was established by Surfer using the data of spatial distribution of radon exhalation rates measured at August 14, 2007 to 19 and 21, which was analyzed by fractal method of projective covering. The results show that the two-dimension surface of radon exhalation rates is of fractal structure. The fractal dimension of surface of radon exhalation rates from August 14, 2007 to 19 and 21 are 2.0535, 2.0173, 2.0029, 2.0084, 2.0079, 2.0057 and 2.0034, respectively, which indicates that the complexity of spatial distribution of the radon exhalation rates at 14 and 15 are larger than that of the other days. The phenomenon results from the change of precipitation and temperature, as well as the features of uranium mill tailings, including mineral composition, particle size, radium content, porosity and pore connectivity, etc.

According to the practical conditions of the island coal face in No.2 Coal Mine of Pingdingshan Coal Company Ltd., China, the strata behaviors and methane emission were monitored and their two relationships were analyzed. The results indicate that strata behavior at coal face affects its methane emission rates at coal wall and goaf, which the quantity of methane emission rate at coal face is largely increasing after main roof weighting. So through the monitor of periodic roof weighting time, larger methane emission rate at coal face can be predicted. Then the related methane control measures can be taken timely.

In this paper, factor analysis are used to study the early Paleogene paleoenvironmental evolution from the Sanshui Basin, and main conclusions can be obtained as follows: stage I (89.0-73.0m), relatively dry and relatively low temperatures; stage II (73.0-52.5m), warm and humidity of the climate and environment; stage III (52.5-22.5m), the ancient climate conditions change quickly, showing the alternating warm and humidity and dry; stage IV (22.5-0m), prevailing warm and moist climatic conditions.

Ecological safety problem from mining activities can not be ignored. Mining ecological security not only relates to ecological environment, also involves technology environment, political environment and cultural environment, etc. Through comprehensive analysis of situation and problems of mining ecological security, we can find Hengyang must go green mining road and must construct ecological mining from the environmental ecology, the political ecology and the cultural ecology, in order to realize mining sustainable development.

The effect of a complex surfactant on in situ leaching of low permeable sandstone uranium deposits is discussed, based on an Agitation leaching and a column leaching experiments. The results of the Agitation leaching experiment show that adding different concentrations surfactant into leaching solutions increases significantly the leaching rate of uranium. For a surfactant concentration of 10 mg/l, the leaching rate of uranium reaches maximum 92.6%. The results of the column leaching experiment show that adding 10mg/L surfactant into leaching solutions increases the permeability coefficient of ore-bearing layer 28.8% and the leaching rate of uranium 58.0%, resulting in 85.79%. The results of kinetic analysis show that extraction of uranium is controlled by diffusion with apparent rate constant of 0.0023/d without adding surfactant and by surface chemical reaction with apparent rate constant of 0.0077/d with adding surfactant. Thus, for low permeable sandstone uranium deposit, the in situ leaching mining is of great potential if adding the complex surfactant into leaching solutions.

摘要:
Longtime existence of the mined-out region brings enormous security potential risk to the residents living in ore area. The model of the mined-out region underground has been established and calculated, and the effect of mined-out region on ground subsidence has been analyzed. The analysis result shows that the deformation of the roof of the mined-out region has significant influence on the ground surface and measures must be carried out immediately. Finally, the rational measures for treating the mined-out region are given to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the follow-up mining.

Organic matter types of the Early Paleogene core sediments from the Sanshui Basin were analyzed using organic petrology method. The organic matter is dominated by type II. The type I organic matter intermittently occurs at some intervals and type III organic matter only has occasional occurrence. Organic matter of types I, II1 and II2 should be deposited under arid, drier and humid climate condition, respectively. The uppermost part of the Xinzhuang Formation is characterized by type II1, related to a dry climatic condition. Sub-member A of the Honggang Member is dominated by organic Type II2, sandwiched by Type I and II1, reflecting a prevailing humid climatic condition. Sub-member B is characterized by alternations of types II2 and II1 or I, suggesting rapid fluctuations of humid and arid climatic condition. Sub-member C shows type II1 and I in the lower part and shifts to type II2 in middle and upper parts, suggesting a dry climate condition followed by a prevailing humid climatic condition.

Ecological security is an important issue for sustainable development of mining industry. Uranium mining industry is the base for development of nuclear industry and nuclear power. But uranium mining and processing has larger effect on ecological environment which mainly include tailings, waste rock, waste water, and radiation effects. This paper probes into the role that ecological safety plays in the sustainable development of uranium mining based on analysis of restricting factors on uranium mining in China from the perspective of ecological security. The uranium mining industry in China to achieve sustainable development, we must establish ecological security ideas.

The initial planning of mining involves the price prediction of mineral products,how to determine the mine production scale,the choice of mining methods and so on. The price prediction of mineral products play an important role in the subsequent stages of mining scheme. Taking molybdenum concntrate as example, because the price of molybdenum concntrate is in non-linear variation and it is difficult to establish effective mathematical model by classic approachs, BP neural network and adaptive neuron-fuzzy inference system with time series techniqueare are respectively used to build BPNN and ANFIS timeseriesmodels of the molybdenum products price. The result indicates that ANFIS time series can better forecast the molybdenum concntrate price than BPNN time series does, provides strong guarantees for follow-up steps.

The effects of impurities ions on the quality of the metallic zinc powder in zinc alkaline leaching electrowinning process are researched. The experimental results indicated that the ions of CO32-,SO42-,SiO32-, F- have no influences on zinc Electrowinning and the maximum concentration of the chlorine ion should be controlled under 20g/L, the concentration of the sulfide ion has significant influence on electrowinning process, the quality of zinc decreased by 5% even under the slight amount of sulfide ion condition.
