摘要:
A shashlik-type electromagnetic calorimeter will be produced in Hall A of Jefferson Laboratory for the Solenoidal Large Intensity Device (SoLID). Wavelength-shifting (WLS) fibers and clear fibers will be used as the light guide part of the calorimeter. The blue light from scintillators is converted into green light by WLS fibers and is carried out to the back of the calorimeters for readout. Since the magnetic field of SoLID reaches about 1.5 T behind the calorimeters, the design is to use clear fibers to further guide the light out of the solenoid for readout by PMTs. Therefore, it is important to study the perfomance of WLS and clear fibers. This paper describes a comparative test of two different WLS fibers and a light attenuation test for a clear fiber. The results show that the performance of the two WLS fibers is the same under large curvature bending, and that the bending has no effect on the light transmission through the clear fiber. In addition, a comparison test for two fiber end-face reflective materials is also reported. It reveals that the use of silver ink as a reflective material can increase the light yield by 30%. Thereby, an optimized prototype based on the above experimental results was built and the basic performance was tested.

Thermal characteristics during startup of CSR1000 are directly related to the security of supercritical water reactors. The heat transfer model during power-raising phase is built according to the sliding pressure mode of CSR1000 and thermal characteristics of coolant and moderator are analyzed. The results show that, during the temperature-raising phase of startup, Coolant and moderator temperatures in inner assemblies increase with core power increase only. With increases of core power and feed-water flow rate, Coolant and moderator temperatures remain unchanged during power-raising phase. Thermal properties of the coolant change in the pseudo-critical temperature and the heat transfer deterioration occurs.

摘要:
Silicon carbide fiber-reinforced silicon carbide matrix composites have been investigated for their use as structural materials for advanced nuclear reactor. Although quite a number of researches have been devoted to probe the effects of irradiation on various properties of the composites, there is little known about the atomistic mechanism for irradiation resistance. In this study, a two-temperature model has been used to investigate the irradiation damage of SiC/Gra/SiC composites, which includes three parts and two SiC/C interfaces, two single crystal cubic silicon carbide on two sides and a few graphene sheets in the middle part. By simulating 100 keV displacement cascades, we find that the number of defects in the reinforcement is larger than that in the matrix, which indicates the damage in the reinforcement is more serious than that in the matrix. Moreover, we explicitly investigate the damage behavior of the interphase graphene layers and find that some atoms in one graphene sheet form many new chemical bonds with atoms in another one, which leads to the transition from sp(2) to sp(3) hybridization. The newly formed chemical bonds link the different graphene layers and make graphene-like electronic structure more "diamond-like", enhancing the irradiation resistance of the matrix. 摘要:
The whole core model of CEFR is established according to the parameters of China Experimental Fast Reactor which are given by IAEA-TECDOC-1531, and the physical parameters of CEFR are simulated with the MCNP4a program. The calculation results are compared with the data contained in the safety analysis report of CEFR. The calculation results are consistent with the design value, which successfully demonstrates the reliability of this MCNP model. The MCNP model will be further refined and applied for nuclear safety review of the CEFR in the future.

A typical 1000MW pressurized-water reactor (PWR) unit model of China’s living nuclear power plant (NPP) units is built based on MAAP4[1] in this paper. Different severe accidents cases caused by different LOCA area on hot leg of primary loop are studied. And different mitigation measures are focused to evaluated their effectiveness. The study indicates that during the accident, the larger broken area LOCA case caused the more severe rector core damaged. However, it is important to inject water into the reactor core in good time. And that can mitigate the severe accident progress effectively.

In this talk, we first briefly review the isospin dependence of the total nucleon effective mass M_J~* inferred from analyzing nucleon-nucleus scattering data within an isospin-dependent non-relativistic optical potential model, and the isospin dependence of the nucleon E-mass M_J~(*,E) obtained from applying the Migdal–Luttinger theorem to a phenomenological single-nucleon momentum distribution in nuclei constrained by recent electron-nucleus scattering experiments. Combining information about the isospin dependence of both the nucleon total effective mass and E-mass, we then infer the isospin dependence of nucleon k-mass using the well-known relation M_J~* = M_J~(*,E)·M_J~(*,k). Implications of the results on the nucleon mean free path in neutron-rich matter are discussed.

Firstly, using Fluent laminar model simulate volumetric flow rate and pressure differential. second, using Hagen Poiseuille formula calculate coefficient of dynamic viscosity. Then we can calculate laminar flow numerical simulation error of fluent by contrasting the difference of coefficient of dynamic viscosity between laminar simulative results of Fluent and calculated results of Hagen Poiseuille formula. Geometric model is Circular pipe. Fluid medium is water. The study found three conclusions. Fluent model relies on simplified mathematical formula, which can not accurately describe real flow situation, so Fluent simulation results is not accurate; When inlet velocity is at the range of 0.06m/s to 0.15m/s, Given coefficient of dynamic viscosity by Fluent model is always smaller than calculated coefficient of dynamic viscosity by Hagen Poiseuille formula; Laminar flow numerical simulation error of Fluent in circular tube gradually increase along with the increase of inlet velocity at the range of 0.06m/s to 0.15m/s.

Purpose: In radiotherapy of the nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the randomized controlled trials of proton and photon therapy treatment is less. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the dosimetry superiority of the proton beam and photons beam for NPC. Method: Clinical trails of dosimetry comparison between proton beam and photons beam for NPC are retrieved from the PubMed, Cochrane Library, Medline, CNKI, WFD, UCDRS, SinoMed. Results: three literatures were included in this study, through the comparison of proton therapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy. Spinal cord (MD=-4.14, 95% CI: -6.37, -1.91, P=0.0003); Brainstem (MD=-14.84, 95% CI: -21.76, -7.92, P<0.0001); Ipsilateral parotid gland (MD=-6.38, 95% CI: -8.27, -4.50, P<0.00001); Contralateral parotid gland (MD=-6.37, 95% CI: -7.31, -5.42, P<0.00001). Conclusion: Compared with the traditional photon radiation therapy, proton therapy has obvious advantage in reducing dose of the organs at risk.

It is difficult for operators in main control room (MCR) of nuclear power plant (NPP) to determine the next possible monitoring object when they are monitoring digital human-machine interface (DHMI) parameter information process, so monitoring delay or transfer error would occurs. According to this situation, a forecasting path programming method (FPPM) in monitoring process was proposed based on human factor reliability. Firstly, forecasting path model in monitoring process is proposed; then a FPPM which covers path tree algorithm building based on information filtration and searching path algorithm is presented; finally, the calculation method of transferring path successful probability was raised. For future verification for the proposed method, taking 3K00118YMA DHMI in SGTR (Stream Generator Tube Rupture) event process of NPP as monitoring task source of t time, the transferring path of next monitoring object was obtained successfully to minimize the risk of monitoring error and improve the efficiency of monitoring.

It is because the matrix arrangement cement lining steel shear which have large elastic-plsatic deformation, yield deformation and slip body, as well as existing multiple complex nonlinear and coupling that traditional methods have not been able to meet the analysis requirements. Therefore, The coupled theory based on elastic mechanics, fracture mechanics and brittle fracture was put forward by considering the change" elastic deformation-plastic yield-shear fracture", and having in-depth discussion about the sheear process. Eventually, a complete mathematical model of matrix arrangement cement lining steel shear has been formed to provides theoretical basis for shear performance and mechanics analysis.
