OBJECTIVE: To investigate spiritual care perceptions, spiritual well-being, and empathy, examine the correlations among spiritual care perceptions, spiritual well-being, and empathy, and explore the mediating role of spiritual well-being between other two variables of Chinese nursing students. METHODS: A cross-sectional design was implemented, and the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE) Checklist was used to ensure quality reporting of the study. A cluster sample of 2,718 nursing students was selected from 7 universities and colleges in China. The demographic characteristics questionnaire, the Chinese Version of the Spiritual Care-Giving Scale (C-SCGS), the Spiritual Health Scale Short Form (SHS-SF), and the Jefferson Scale of Physician Empathy-Nursing Student (JSPE-NS) were used. Descriptive statistics, correlation, and process plug-in mediation effect analyses were used to analyze the data. RESULTS: The total score of spiritual care perceptions, spiritual well-being, and empathy were 173.83 ± 25.62, 98.74 ± 12.87, and 105.04 ± 21.34, respectively. Spiritual care perceptions were positively correlated with spiritual well-being (r = 0.617, p < 0.01) and empathy (r = 0.528, p < 0.01). And spiritual well-being played a partial mediating role between the other two variables (accounting for 28.1%). SIGNIFICANCE OF RESULTS: Spiritual care perceptions, spiritual well-being, and empathy were quite moderate, which need in improving. It is suggested that nursing educators pay attention to the spiritual care education of nursing students, perfect the spiritual care education system, and take targeted measures according to nursing students' individual personality traits and differences, improve their spiritual well-being and empathy in multiple ways, so as to improve their spiritual care perceptions and competence.

The accurate and reliable classification of rock mass is the basis of a reasonable engineering design. In the Xishan mining region of Sanshandao Gold Mine, three conventional rock mass classification methods of Tunneling Quality Index (Q), Rock Mass Rating (RMR) and China National Standard-basic quality (BQ), were compared in the burial depth area above 780 m, and it was discovered that the classification results of different rock mass classification methods had a low coincidence rate in the deep area; Therefore, this paper adopted entropy weight method, TOPSIS method and grey correlation analysis method to calculate the entropy weight and relative closeness of different methods in different middle sections. The study's findings revealed that in the deep area, the relative closeness between each classification mass was: RMR > Q > BQ; Based on the above results, the IRMR method with modified RMR was selected for comprehensive analysis, and the concept of importance degree of evaluation index was defined; it was found that the importance degree of evaluation index of in-situ stress loss was the highest, while the importance degree of joint direction was the lowest; The "ETG" rock mass classification method based on "site-specific" is established, which provides a reference for the establishment of deep rock mass classification method.

Affected by climatic conditions such as rainfall, evaporation and air temperature, most of the backfill soil is in an unsaturated state, and the decrease in matric suction leads to the failure of the retaining structure. In view of this, this study takes the vertical rigid retaining wall with narrow unsaturated backfill as the research object, assuming that the backfill behind the wall forms a circular soil arch and considering the interlayer shear stress; thus, the analytical solution of the active earth pressure of narrow unsaturated soil is derived based on the thin layer element method. The reliability of this method is verified by comparing with the experimental and existing theoretical results. A parameter analysis demonstrates that with the increase in the interface friction angle of the moving wall–soil, the average shear stress coefficient of zone I and zone II increases gradually, but with the increase in the interface friction angle of the fixed wall–soil, the average shear stress coefficient of zone I decreases; with the increase in effective internal friction angle and effective cohesion, the active earth pressure decreases and the tension crack depth increases; with the increase in the interface friction angle, the active earth pressure in the upper part of the retaining wall increases slightly, while the active earth pressure in the lower part decreases obviously; with the increase in matric suction, the active earth pressure first decreases rapidly and then increases gradually, and the tension crack depth first increases and then decreases, but the distribution pattern of the horizontal active earth pressure remains unchanged; the active earth pressure decreases with the decrease in the aspect ratio, and when the aspect ratio is smaller, the attenuation is more obvious; until the aspect ratio reaches a certain value, the active earth pressure is basically unchanged.

Objective: To investigate if a Family-Clinician Shared Decision-Making (FCSDM) intervention benefits patients, families and intensive care units (ICUs) clinicians. Methods: Six ICUs in China were allocated to intervention or usual care. 548 patients with critical illness, 548 family members and 387 ICU clinicians were included into the study. Structured FCSDM family meetings were held in the intervention group. Scales of SSDM, HADS, QoL2 and CSACD were used to assess families' satisfaction and distress, patients' quality of life, and clinicians' collaboration respectively. Results: Comparing the intervention group with the control group at post-intervention, there were significant differences in the families' satisfaction (P = 0.0001), depression level (P = 0.005), and patients' quality of life (P = 0.0007). The clinicians' mean CSCAD score was more positive in the intervention group than controls (P < 0.05). There was no significant between-group differences on ICU daily medical cost, but the intervention group demonstrated shorter number of days' stay in ICU (P = 0.0004). Conclusion: The FCSDM intervention improved families' satisfaction and depression, shortened patients' duration of ICU stay, and enhanced ICU clinicians' collaboration. Practice implications: Further improvement and promotion of the FCSDM model are needed to provide more evidence to this field in China. (c) 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Companies' financial fraud provokes declining market asset allocation efficiency and significantly impacts trust and loyalty among all company's stakeholders. Most investigations focused on the prediction of accounting fraud; less research concentrated on financial restatements. In this case, the paper aims to develop a model for identifying the companies' financial fraud according to the developed index system construction based on financial statements and relationships between their items. The study applies the following stages: 1) analysis of the theoretical framework of the core determinants, impulses and factors of financial fraud and their identification; 2) development of the methodology for timely identification of financial fraud, which is based on index system construction using the Logistic regression model. The object of investigation is Chinese companies listed by China Stock Market & Accounting Research database, excluding J66 (remaining financial industry except for the monetary and financial services), J67 (capital market services), J68 (insurance industry) and J69 (other financial industry) enterprises. The period of investigation is 2017-2020. The data sample includes 53 fraudulent and 53 normal Chinese enterprises. The results show that the overall prediction accuracy of the developed model is 83% and robustness test results further verify the rationality and effectiveness of the method. The company's stakeholders could apply the proposed approach for fraud identification to improve the efficiency of financial fraud identification from the technical level.

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to depict a comprehensive description of near miss research and clarify research gaps. BACKGROUND Learning from near miss can provide early warnings and is critical for proactive and prospective risk management. Because of the lack of structured reviews, there is little knowledge about how near miss management has been managed in the past. METHODS This review was conducted following the Arksey and O'Malley's methodology and reported by the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews. RESULTS Sixty-seven research articles were included. The results revealed that the most investigated fields include near miss reporting, near miss characteristics, and good catch project. Poor theoretical investigation, underreporting, and inconsistent outcome indicators are major problems. CONCLUSIONS Solely understanding causes of near misses cannot guarantee effective learning; we also need to apply appropriate learning theories. Advanced technologies should be applied to solve long-standing underreporting issues. Accurate and consistent indicators should be applied in near miss research and management.

This cluster randomized controlled trial aimed to investigate the effects of an intervention to teach resourcefulness on depression and coping style of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). A convenience sample of 72 patients in community settings took part. Participants in the intervention group (n = 36) received an 8-week intervention based on the concept of resourcefulness, plus routine health education. Participants in the control group (n = 36) received routine health education only. After the intervention, participants in the intervention group had significantly higher scores on resourcefulness and coping styles, and lower scores on depression than those in the control group (both ps < .001). The findings suggest that a well-developed intervention to teach resourcefulness could help patients with CHD to be more resourceful, improve their level of depression, and choose more effective strategies to cope with stress.

The choice of an appropriate fuel can effectively prolong the refueling cycle of a reactor core. The Th-U cycle and U-Pu cycle are commonly used fuel breeding cycles. Oxide fuels, nitride fuels, and metal fuels are the primary candidate fuels for lead-based reactors. For fuel selection, a core model of a 60 MWt reactor was established. The results show that the breeding performance of the breeding fuel Th-232 is better than that of U-238, and the driving performance of the driving fuel Pu-239 is better than that of U-235. Therefore, PuO2-ThO2, PuN-ThN, and Pu-Th-Zr fuels may have good performance. By comparing the reactivity loss of three types of fuel, it was found that the reactivity loss of PuN-ThN fuel is the smallest. Hence, using PuN-ThN fuel as a core fuel can result in a longer refueling cycle. On this basis, PuN-ThN fuel was used in the preliminary design of the 120 MWt core physical model. It can be seen that when PuN-ThN fuel is used as the core fuel, a smaller reactivity swing (1408 pcm), smaller power peak factor, and super long refueling cycle (more than 30 years) can be obtained.
