From macro economic perspective, this paper examines the influence of China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the higher education in China. The authors think that China's accession to WTO will enlarge the pool of students who will take higher education significantly, and remarkably increase the profits of running universities and colleges. The competitory environment of higher education market will be further optimized.
