A numerical simulation of the energy deposition distribution in semiconductors is performed for 63Ni beta particles. The results show that the energy deposition distribution approximately follows an exponential decay law. A numerical simulation of the energy deposition distribution in semiconductors is performed for 63Ni beta particles. Results show that the energy deposition distribution exhibits an approximate exponential decay law.
