随着科学技术的不断发展，研究人员逐渐意识到人因工程学在设计中的重要性。人因工程学紧紧围绕着人这个主题，所有与人相关的系统都是人因工程学所要研究的。文章对人因工程学的研究范畴和研究重点进行了介绍，指出将人因工程学运用到交互界面设计的必要性，并建立以人为本的思想，分析了人和机器各自的特点，以便更好地对人和机器进行合理的功能分配，按照相应的界面设计准则进行设计，达到人-机-环的总体性能最优化。
